Pensacola falls 10-4 at the hands of Chipola

Chipola beat Pensacola on Saturday 10-4 at Marianna, FL. 

Chipola scored four runs in the second on Chipola scored in the second on an RBI double by Kevin Santa, a passed ball, a sacrifice fly by Isiah Gilliam, and a sacrifice fly by Gunnar McNeill

The game was back-and-forth heading into the second, with five lead changes. 

Chipola's Lazaro Rivera was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning. 

McNeill got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over five innings. McNeill struck out five, walked none and gave up five hits. 

Jackson Smith was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked four and struck out none. 

It didn't take long for Chipola to respond as it scored two runs of its own in the first. Chipola scored on a hit by pitch and a walk by Maurice Cooley

Chipola tacked on another three runs in the sixth. A hit into a fielder's choice scored Santa to start the scoring in the inning.
