Culver Lamb struck out six batters, but Chipola still fell to Walters State 3-2 in seven innings on Friday at Marianna, FL. 

Reed Hayes recorded the win for Walters State. He allowed one run over three innings. Hayes struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits. 

Lamb couldn't get it done on the hill for Chipola, taking a loss. 

Walters State stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring two runs on a two-run single by Colie Currie. 

Chipola scored one run in the second inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the second, Chipola scored on a groundout by Collin Harris, bringing home Gunnar McNeill.
