Chipola announces date for cheerleading tryouts

After a two year hiatus due to COVID restrictions, Chipola Athletics brought back cheerleaders for the 2022-23 school year.

Seventeen young ladies cheered at the Chipola men's and women's basketball games this season and helped make the Milton H. Johnson Center one of the most intimidating home floors in the NJCAA. Combined, the basketball teams were 23-4 at home this season with the men posting a perfect 15-0 record.

The tryout date for the 2023-2024 school was recently announced by Cheer Coach, Melissa Laramore, as Monday, May 8 at the Milton H. Johnson Center.

The tryouts will start at 3 PM and last until 8 PM. Participants are asked to wear black shorts and a white top.
