Jeff Fiorentino has been a member of Coach Jeff Johnson's staff for seven seasons (2016-2020 & 2022-2023) working with hitters and infielders and serving as third base coach. 

He helped coach the Indians to back-to-back National Championships in 2017 & 2018 and a three-peat of State Championships in 2017-2019.

As a senior at Nova High School in Davie, Florida, Fiorentino was named the 2001 Broward County player of the year. He was drafted out of high school in the 21st round of the 2001 MLB Draft but chose to attend college. 

From 2002-2004, Fiorentino played at Florida Atlantic University where he tallied 44 home runs, 168 RBI, 204 runs scored and 229 hits. In 2019, he was inducted into the Florida Atlantic University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.

Fiorentino was selected in the third round of the 2004 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles and made his debut in the major leagues on May 12, 2005. At the time, he was just the third player from FAU to make a big league debut.

His 10 year career in professional baseball included four years in the majors and one year in Japan playing for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. 

Following his playing career, Fiorentino coached for two years as a student assistant and volunteer assistant at FAU before coming to Chipola.

Jeff and his wife, Ashley, have two sons, Grayson and Decker.
